Welcome to the Frequently Asked Questions Page...
This page is designed to answer the most common questions asked of FSD. If you have a question that does not appear here, feel free to email us.

Why do Future Slope Design kits take longer to process than other manufacturer’s kits?
Future Slope Designs makes every effort to process kits in a timely manner. On selected FSD kits, you are given the option of choosing between a basic kit and a prefabricated kit. Basic kits are shipped out within four days of ordering. Prefabricated kits take longer, but then there is considerable work completed for you prior to shipment. Some have described these prefabricated kits as “near ARF.” They represent the greatest value for your flying dollar because your build time is greatly reduced which allows you to get on the slopes faster.
What should I do if there are parts missing from my kit?
It is rare that a kit is received with missing parts. However, if you feel that you are missing something from your kit, you should contact FSD immediately by phone or email. 909-338-6095 or futureslopedesigns@mac.com Anything missing from your kit will be shipped out same day.
What shipping methods are used for FSD products?
All domestic orders are shipped via UPS Ground delivery. Ground delivery takes anywhere from 2-4 days to reach you depending on where you live. Upon shipment, a tracking number is sent via email so that it can be tracked to your location. International orders are sent via USPS Priority or Express mail. Typically, international orders can take anywhere from 5-10 days for delivery depending on what country you live in.
My prefabricated kit seems to have a a lot smudges or tool marks on the foam and other parts. Why is that?
The more prefabrication completed on each kit, the greater chance there is that a nominal amount of tool marks, smudges and sanding marks will appear on the fuse, wing panels and other kit parts. In most cases, this is unpreventable and does not represent a flawed kit. Each kit is carefully inspected prior to shipment to insure that any prefabrication marks or imperfections do not effect the build process or the plane’s performance. However, if you feel that your kit does not meet your standards, you can always contact us.
What is the difference between a “Basic” kit and “Prefabricated” kit?
