The Raptor 36 is a highly maneuverable little sloper.  It is  in the ultra light weight sports class of flyers.  Designed for light lift, the R36 has been flown in 6 mph or even less.  However, the full spectrum of aerobatic ability of this original Raptor is realized when conditions reach 10-12 mph.  Anything above 12, and the R36 will allow the pilot to explore the full range of his or her ability.  The R36 can perform multiple outside loops and tight inside loops.  It can drop into inverted with just a simple push of the stick.  Multiple rolls and “roll reversals” are well within the R36’s ability. This is a great little multi-purpose flier that can bring hours of fun and creative flight.

The Raptor 48 came into being after many had requested a larger version of the original R36. It is considered one of the lighter 48” slopers available. The R48 shares many of the outstanding flight characteristics of its smaller cousin.  However, it is slightly more stable, which makes it ideal for the novice pilot.  Speed retention on the R48 is excellent, which makes multiple maneuvers on a single pass common. Inside loops are tight and predictable while graceful outside loops are more than achievable.  The R48’s roll rate is good, but ballast up the R48 and rolls are quick and predictable.  The R48 provides hours of creative fun in almost any lift condition.
